Living With Vintage - Scandinavian Rya Cushions

Rya is originally a type of Scandinavian pile carpert, but the technique was during the 1960s used for cushion covers as well. I think that every Danish home had a rya carpet and a few cushions. And they are just as popular today.

I´ve had three rya cushions in the shop and they hardly hit the shop before leaving again. Now I´m constantly looking for more, but they seem to be a bit hard to find.

They are really tempting, when you are just a tiny bit tired. So soft to rest your head on.

  2. I have just discovered your blog (via Tove) and I had to write to tell you how much I love it. Interesting, and really good to look at too - the double whammy! Following now, and I'm really looking forward to exploring it some more.
